We are members of the CWA International, a union of 750,000 other workers of which there are over 100,000 airline employees. We are proud to say that we have a voice in the workplace, and we are all covered by a contract that improves working conditions, creates fairness and increases wages.

After working for over a year on establishing a retiree chapter that is for passenger service agents only. We finally have one. Although all retirees have common interests, retired passenger service agents have unique concerns that can only be addressed by a dedicated chapter. The newly formed retiree chapter will work closely with the national CWA Retiree Members Council to dispense information that is important to all retirees. The CWA Local 3645 retiree chapter will be in place to address issues and concerns that are unique to retired passenger service agents. Also allowing retired passenger service agents to be a member of a union that can advocate for them. This advocacy was previously lost once passenger service agents retired. This advocacy will include but is not limited to retirees facing benefit concerns. In addition to everything that comes with being retired from the airline industry. Importantly there will not be place for retirees to fellowship and stay connected to support each other. . Lastly the retirees can stay connected to CWA national and can participate in CWA national conventions and district meetings. Local 3645 retiree chapter is the only one of its kind. It has required lots of organizational work to come to pass. As retirees will stand united together as we move along, but the foundation is already in place because we already have the benefit of coming from a bargaining unit. Our Chapter bylaws require any retiree wishing to join the Retired Members Chapter of CWA Local 3645 to join the CWA Retired Members council as a lifetime member. The cost of the lifetime membership is $25. You can sign up on their secure website at www. CWARetirees.org. Once you have joined, please email a copy of your lifetime membership confirmation to CWALOCAL3645RETIREES@gmail.com. This will allow you to be add you as a member to the Retired Members Chapter of CWA Local 3645. Welcome Retirees!
